Shrimp Rasta Pasta Recipe

An easy, creamy, delicious weeknight dinner using Tutoni's Flour Shop fresh pasta.

Ingredients:

1 lb Tutoni's Flour Shop Fresh Pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons Jerk Seasoning
1 lb of peeled shrimp
1 small onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 orange bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
1) Boil a pot of water "like the sea" and dump in Tutoni's Flour Shop pasta. Stir occasionally and cook until al dente. Strain and set aside.
2) Sauté shrimp in a pan with olive oil and your favorite jerk seasoning. Set aside. 3) Add more olive oil and saute chopped onion, peppers, and garlic. Cook 3-4 minutes until softened.
4) Add paprika, onion powder, salt and pepper, and more jerk seasoning (to taste). 5) To the pot, add the shrimp and parmesan cheese. Bring to a simmer and add fresh spinach.
6) Stir in strained pasta and bring whole dish to a simmer.
7) Plate and top with fresh basil or your favorite fresh herb.

 

Family Friendly Pasta Bake 

Ingredients:
8 oz Tutoni's Flour Shop fresh gemelli pasta

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 24 oz. jar of marinara sauce
1/2 cup sour cream
6 oz. sliced provolone
4 oz. shredded mozzarella
1/4 cup grated parmesan Instructions

Instructions:
1) Salt a pot of water like the sea. When boiling, add fresh pasta. Cook around 5 minutes or until al dente.
2) Meanwhile, in a skillet, brown the ground beef.
3) Add chopped onion and cook until softened.
4) Stir in sour cream. Add the drained pasta and coat it.
5) Pre-heat oven to 350.
6) Coat a baking dish with non stick spray. Pour half the pasta in a baking dish and top with sliced provolone and a sprinkle of mozzarella.
7) Create a second layer by repeating the process again. Top with shredded parmesan cheese.
8) Bake until cheese is melted and bubbly or about 30 minutes.

 

 

Creamy Tuscan Chicken over Fresh Pasta

Ingredients:

1 lb. Tutoni's Flour Shop fresh spaghetti
2 lb. chicken thighs
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper
3 TBSP olive oil 4 garlic cloves, minced
¼ c. finely chopped yellow onion
3/4 c. sun-dried tomatoes, thinly sliced
2 c. spinach (baby or chopped)
1 ½ c. heavy cream
2/3 c. grated parmesan

1) Salt a pot of water like the sea. When boiling, add a bag of Tutoni's Flour Shop fresh spaghetti and occasionally stir/agitate to separate noodles. Cook about 5 minutes or until al dente. Strain and set aside.

2) Season both sides of each chicken thigh in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

3) Heat 2 tablespoons of the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden. Remove and set aside.

4) In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil and the onion. Saute for 2 to 3 minutes, until the onion has softened.

5) Add the sun-dried tomatoes and garlic and saute another minute, until fragrant.

6) Add the spinach, and saute another minute, until just starting to wilt.

7) Add the heavy cream and parmesan cheese, stir together, and bring to a simmer.

8) Let it simmer. Place the chicken back in the skillet and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.

9) Serve on a bed of Tutoni's Flour Shop fresh pasta and top with parmesan cheese. Enjoy!

 

Shrimp Scampi With a Kick
Ready in 20 Minutes

Serves 2
Ingredients: 
1/2 lb of Tutoni's Flour Shop fresh spaghetti pasta
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp melted butter
4 cloves garlic
6 oz deveined shrimp
1/2 c white wine
2 Tbsp of pasta water
1 tsp chili fake
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
1/2 Tbsp lime juice
1/2 tomato diced
1/2 Tbsp chopped parsley
Garnish with parmesan cheese

Directions:
1) Salt water "like the sea" and boil pasta 3-5 mins or until al dente.
2) Put garlic and butter in pan, sauté until garlic starts to sizzle.
3) Add shrimp, sauté until half way done.
4) Add white wine, butter, and all spices and herbs. Simmer until shrimp finishes cooking.
5) Toss with spaghetti.
6) Plate and top with parmesan

One Pot Pasta Dinner
Ready in 20 Minutes
Serves 4

Ingredients:
1 lb Tutoni's Flour Shop fresh rigatoni pasta
2 cups onion chopped
1 zucchini chopped (or any veggies your kids will eat)
1 Tbsp italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp minced garlic
2 c jarred tomato sauce
1 cup of water
parm cheese for garnish

Directions:
1) Put onion, veggies, spices, garlic salt, and ground beef in sauce or deep pot, cook until brown and soft.
2) Add pasta, 1 cup water and jar of favorite sauce.
3) Cover, stir occasionally for 5-6 minutes or until pasta is tender/water is evaporated.
4) Plate and top with parmesan.

Lemony Basil Creamy Vegan Pasta
Ready in 20 Minutes
Serves 2
Sauce Ingredients:
1 c. roasted unsalted cashews
3 cloves garlic
juice from 1/2 lemon
1 c. packed fresh basil
1 cup water
Pinch of salt
Main Ingredients:
1/2 lb of Tutoni's Flour Shop fresh gemelli vegan pasta
3 c. of broccoli florets chopped
1 zucchini chopped
1/2 red bell pepper chopped
2 Tbsp of olive oil
1 medium yellow onion, diced
4 oz. arugula (few handfuls)
dash of salt and pepper

Directions:
1) Salt water "like the sea" and boil pasta 3-5 minutes or until al dente.
2) Meanwhile, combine all sauce ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.
3) Sauté all veggies with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
4) Toss cooked pasta, sauce, and veggies together in pan and sauté for another 30-60 seconds to bring it all to temperature. Enjoy!
